For your diary: Henty Field day is round the corner!

It’s show time folks, and this year’s Henty Field Day (or rather, days) is from the 20-22 September. As you’d expect, ABC Sheds will be there along with more than 800 other exhibitors, and we’re already getting geared up for the excitement. All the latest farm mechanization implements will be on display, and of course, we have the sheds to keep all that shiny new machinery you’ll be tempted to buy as good as new.

Henty Field Day Highlights

One of the big highlights of field days is seeing old friends, associates and clients, so do drop by the ABC Sheds stand to say “Hi”. We’ll be showcasing our DIY kit and bespoke sheds, and hope to tempt you as much as any other exhibitor. Remember: a shed adds value, not just to your farm as a business, but also to your bottom line. The right facilities really do make a difference.

Other fun things you can see include the latest in drone technology for farmers. The new drone is designed to provide a detailed imaging map of your crops, allowing you to identify any crop health problems early. Seeing the latest tech for farmers is always an eye-opener, so we’re hoping to sneak on over and take a peep. Word has it there’ll be a prize giveaway of one of those drones – nice!

We also noticed that a precision large capacity spreader is going to be on display, and judging from the images, it looks like an imposing bit of equipment. If you think big is beautiful, you’re going to fall in love – be warned! This beauty looks like it’s a real gargantuan, so if you go for one, be sure you’ve got space in your shed to store it!

See the latest in solar technology, or take an amble to check out the art of cheese-making, and of course, to taste the results. Into nature? Of course you are! Find out about the fascinating world of fungi. There’s always something new to learn at the Henty field Day.

As you’d expect, there will be something for everyone in the family, and we hear there’s a lucky draw gate prize of $1,000 in fuel. Who knows? Maybe you’ll be the lucky winner! That’s a lovely boost to get, no matter which way you look at it.
